What this site does not do
- no cookies, no localStorage, no recognition of returning visitors
- no audience measurement, no analytics, no tracking
- no embedded third-party services — fonts, images and the film are served from the same server as the page
- no forms, and therefore no input that is transmitted
There is consequently no consent banner either: there would be nothing to consent to.
Server log files
When the site is requested, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, time of access, file requested, volume of data transferred, status message, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page if the browser transmits it.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and undisturbed operation of the site and in defending against attacks. This data is not combined with other sources and is not used for advertising.
Hosting
The site is operated at Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes the access data named above as a processor under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply to transfers to the United States.
Getting in touch
Anyone who makes contact by e-mail at felix@felixrohde.com or by telephone thereby transmits their name, contact details and the content of the enquiry. This information is used solely to deal with the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is erased once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no retention obligation applies.
Link to an external page
The site contains one link to disruptive-consciousness.com. A connection to that page is established only when the link is clicked; no data flows there beforehand. Responsibility for the processing that takes place there lies with the respective provider.
